Danny Barnett

Danny Barnett is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technology leadership roles, currently serving as the VP of Emerging Technology Engineer at IBM Research since 2002. In this position, Barnett manages the IT needs and cybersecurity for a team of 3,000 researchers focused on advancing Quantum computing, Artificial Intelligence, and cloud technologies. Previous roles include VP of Engineering, Sales and Marketing Technology, and Chief of Staff to the CIO, where Barnett directed global software engineering teams and led initiatives for organizational change and Agile adoption.
