Joseph Walton is a Machine Learning Engineer and AI consultant with a diverse background in developing and implementing innovative solutions across various industries. Previously an athlete for British Weightlifting, they transitioned into tech, holding positions at the Office for National Statistics, Incopro, and Barclays, where they contributed to groundbreaking projects in data processing and machine learning. As the Senior ML Engineer at IPO UK, Joseph specialized in NLP solutions for trademark applications, achieving substantial improvements in error reduction and system resilience. Currently, they serve as the Lead Data Scientist at IBM and run Walton AI.ssociates, offering comprehensive AI consultancy services. Joseph holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics and two Master’s degrees in Applied Mathematics from the University of Bath.
