Monife Balogun

Monife Balogun is an Executive Administrative Assistant for TPF at The Partnership Funds, bringing a wealth of experience in project management and community service. Born in Wadesboro, North Carolina, in 1954, Monife began advocating for racial equality at a young age and had a distinguished 36-year career at IBM, where they led a global team of project managers. Monife also served as a Lay Midwife, contributing to over 500 births, and has held leadership roles in various community organizations focusing on youth and education. Monife is actively involved in the Fertile Ground Food Cooperative and continues to support initiatives that promote equality and empowerment in the community. They hold an Associate degree in Early Childhood Education from Stanly Community College and an Associate degree in Computer Science from Westchester Community College.
