Naguib Attia

Naguib Attia has over 25 years of experience in industrial, manufacturing, research, and academic fields. Currently, Naguib Attia holds the position of Vice President and IBM Distinguished Engineer for Global University Programs at IBM, where responsibilities include creating and leading industry solutions for various sectors such as Aerospace & Defense, Electronics, Automotive, Chemical, and Petroleum. Additionally, Naguib Attia serves as a Member of the Industry Advisory Council for ABET since January 2020. Naguib Attia began their academic journey with a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Essex, completed from 1981 to 1985, and has previously worked as a Senior Solutions Specialist, focusing on business process integration for industrial customers.
