Nhan Hoang

Nhan Hoang has extensive experience in software development and management at IBM, beginning in August 1998. Currently serving as a Senior Software Development Manager for the watsonx Platform Engineering team, Nhan has held various roles including Software Development Manager for Watson Core and Advisory Software Engineer for Watson Natural Language Understanding and Watson AI Operations. Nhan's expertise includes designing benchmark automation frameworks for API performance testing and leading test automation efforts for scalability and functionality. Previous positions include key roles in performance and system verification across IBM's analytics and content management solutions. Prior to IBM, Nhan worked as a System Manager at Intermountain Healthcare, focusing on mainframe system administration. Nhan holds a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from San Jose State University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Utah.
