Samuel J. Cerone

Samuel J. Cerone is currently the VP of Regulatory Compliance for Cognitive Applications & Ecosystems at IBM. Prior to this, they worked at IBM Global Financing from February 1999 to December 2004, where they were the Manager of Financial Systems. In this role, they oversaw a team of 9 application support analysts providing production support to lease billing and accounting systems in North America. Samuel then progressed to managing an organization of 65 systems analysts supported by over 100 off-shore developers in developing, deploying and supporting IBM’s lease pricing, invoicing, accounting and measurements systems worldwide.

Cerone began their educational career by earning a BBA from Pace University in Public Accounting.

They are on a team with Ric Lewis - SVP, IBM Systems, Nickle LaMoreaux - SVP, CHRO, and Darío Gil - SVP, Director of IBM Research. Their manager is Arvind Krishna, CEO & Chairman.
