Joe Gelay

Joe Gelay is an experienced software engineering manager and fullstack engineer currently employed at Ibotta since September 2021, where responsibilities have evolved through various engineering roles. As the founder of KindCard, established in December 2019, Joe aims to promote kindness and track its impact through innovative initiatives. Previous experience includes roles at CLMBR, Open Media Foundation, and Pernix, where Joe developed skills in both front-end and data consulting. Joe's career also includes volunteer work with the Peace Corps in community economic development and earlier positions in sports marketing and youth instruction. Joe holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Management and Marketing from the University of South Carolina and completed a Full Stack Web Development program at Flatiron School.
