Taylor Edward Names is an accomplished machine learning engineer and data scientist with extensive experience in the technology and engineering sectors. Currently serving as Principal Machine Learning Engineer at Ibotta, Inc. since August 2020, Taylor has previously held multiple roles including Staff Machine Learning Engineer and Senior Software Engineering Manager - Product Data Lead. Prior experience includes managerial and lead data science positions at Uplight from August 2016 to August 2020, as well as a teaching fellowship at Harvard University where Taylor co-designed data science case studies and mentored students. Taylor's foundational experience also includes civil engineering work on the Porto Maravilha Project for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
