Shirin Safire has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Shirin worked as a Program Manager at IBSSCorp, where they provided leadership and strategic direction for multiple contracts with a focus on the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). Prior to that, they were a Special Education Assistant at Fairfax County Public Schools for six years.
Shirin also has experience as a Science Teacher and Classroom Assistant at Rodef Shalom School. Shirin worked as a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer at ScoreBoard Inc., where they were responsible for testing and evaluating complex software products for the wireless industry.
Furthermore, they worked at Ericsson as a Software Quality Assurance Engineering/Project Manager, utilizing their field experience to develop software test scenarios for wireless engineering tools. Shirin also spent a significant portion of their career at LCC - A Tech Mahindra Company, where they held roles such as Project Manager and Senior Engineer, responsible for delivering engineering consulting services to clients such as SPRINT/NEXTEL and AT&T/SBC Incorporated.
Throughout their career, Shirin has demonstrated strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage large-scale projects.
Shirin Safire obtained their associate's degree in Engineering from Montgomery College between 1986 and 1988. Following this, they pursued their bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering at West Virginia University, completing it between 1988 and 1991.
