Stephen Jin

Stephen Jin has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Starting in 2013, they worked as a Technical Advisor at Apple, troubleshooting issues with Mac products in the U.S., Canada, and the U.K.

In 2012, Stephen joined the Society for the Promotion of Japanese Animation (SPJA) as a Volunteer and progressed to various roles, eventually becoming the Assistant Division Manager of Entertainment. During their time there, they guided 32 Managers and over 200 staff in their duties, ensuring smooth operations among 100,000 attendees. Stephen also compensated for any shortage of volunteers by helping wherever needed.

Moving forward, Stephen worked as a Front Desk Agent at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. in 2015 and as an Event Assistant at County of San Diego in 2017.

From 2016 to 2018, Stephen served as a Partner at Twitch, a popular streaming platform, and as an Event Manager at Esports Arena in 2018. Stephen then transitioned to a Freelance Esports Consultant in 2018 until October 2021.

Currently, Stephen holds the title of Global Partnerships and Events at iBUYPOWER, a position they started in October 2021.

Stephen Jin received their high school education from Torrey Pines High School, where they graduated in the year 2012. After completing high school, they went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation and Tourism Management at San Diego State University. Stephen studied at San Diego State University from the year 2012 to 2017, eventually earning a Bachelor of Science degree.
