John Schwarten is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in corporate finance, specializing in debt restructuring and mergers and acquisitions. As Principal at OEM Capital Corp. since June 2007, John has honed expertise in these areas. In addition, John is a Member of The ICA Group, a nonprofit focused on establishing and managing employee-owned enterprises, where assistance is provided to business owners, municipal governments, and organized labor in executing conversions to cooperatively owned entities or ESOPs. As Managing Partner at Evens Company since 1986, John advises clients on business reorganization and manages negotiations among various stakeholders. John's previous roles include Director positions at Executive Sounding Board Associates and United Color Press, Senior VP at Banque Worms, and Vice President at Bankers Trust. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Philosophy from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor's degree in History from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
