Rickard Gustafsson

Rickard Gustafsson has extensive work experience in the retail industry. Rickard began their career at Spar Inn in 1989 as a Department Manager. Rickard later worked as a Store Manager and was responsible for the economy administration of multiple stores.

In 1995, Gustafsson joined VIVO Stockholm, where they held various roles including Market Consultant, Product Manager, and Head of Store Development and Space Management.

In 2000, they moved to Axfood and worked as a Negotiator of Logistic Agreements, Controller, and Category Manager.

Since 2006, Gustafsson has been with ICA Gruppen, where they have held several leadership positions. Rickard started as a Senior Buying Manager and progressed to Head of Business Areas, including Meat, Deli, Poultry, Fish & Ready Meals, Dairy, Bread, Cheese, Egg, and Juice, Nearfood and most recently, the position of Business Area Director for Food & Beverages.

Rickard Gustafsson attended various educational institutions throughout their career. Rickard received a Bachelor of Science in Management and Economics from Örebro University in 1993. Rickard then pursued further education in economics at Uppsala University in 1993-1994. Rickard later studied Real Estate at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in 2003-2004 and Strategic Planning and Management in Retailing at Babson College in 2013. Additionally, they participated in leadership training at CIES Future Leadership in 2007-2008 and attended Oxford University's Said Business School in 2010. Before their higher education, they completed their high school education at Illinois Valley High School in Oregon, USA in 1984-1985.
