Stuart Kline has been a Senior Consultant with ICA since 2006.
Currently, “Stu” advises Clients in the apparel, retail, and commercial and habitational real estate industries on insurance and risk management matters. He has earned both the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) and the Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designations from The Institutes Risk and Insurance Knowledge Group. Benefitting from his legal experience, he is especially well equipped to review leases, licensing agreements and contracts with vendors and suppliers and in turn recommend appropriate insurance language to mitigate operating risks.

Stu attended Rutgers University Law School (evening division), and then passed both the New Jersey and New York bar examinations.
Before joining ICA, he practiced insurance defense law for more than ten years and handled all aspects of litigation, from discovery through motion practice and trial. After earning a MBA from the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University, Stu began his career in corporate finance – first with Johnson & Johnson, then with AT&T – working on a variety of corporate projects, including budgets and forecasting, strategic planning, debt refinancing and improving cash flow on customer receivables.
Stu is a valued member of ICA’s Professional Practice Committee, and contributor to ICA’s risk management publications and speaks to business groups on risk management topics as well. He also is a member of the Society of Risk Management Consultants.
