Vickie Meng

Vickie joined ICA in 2019 and has grown very quickly in her role as part of the risk consulting team. She works for the Managing Associate’s team as a Consultant to Clients. Vickie is involved in all aspects of Client servicing and works with a diverse portfolio of clients that include restaurants, law firms, financial institutions, importers, real estate, and others. She is adept at comparing the language in insurance policies and other documents to identify coverage differences that would better serve the Client wherever possible, as well as also maintaining her daily responsibilities to Clients including the claims status of outstanding claims.

Previously to working at ICA, Vickie held finance positions in different industries, including a credit card processing company and an insulation contracting company. While the risk management industry is relatively new to her, Vickie has shown aptitude, willingness, and eagerness to learn. She obtained her Insurance Producer’s license, Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation, and Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation from the National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research after being selected for ICA’s “fast track” program for standout colleagues. As a result of these achievements, she is now a member of the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors. Vickie is continuing her education as she is currently working on attaining her CRM designation, which she hopes to complete by year’s end along with her Associate in Commercial Underwriting designation that commences in the fall of 2021.

Vickie earned her Bachelor of Arts (double major) in Finance and Sociology from the University of Missouri, Columbia. Her membership in the associations, MAASU (Midwestern Asian American Student Unions) and W.O.C. (Women of Color) allowed her to take leadership positions that promote multicultural differences and intersectionality between women of color.
