Aileen Lum

Aileen Lum has a diverse work history spanning several decades. Their most recent position was at Arts Unlimited where they retired in March 2016. Prior to that, they worked as a Principal Engineer at both iCAD Inc. and Xoft Inc., with their role at Xoft Inc. ending in December 2010. Aileen also has experience as a Consulting Design Engineer at Nektar and as a Consulting Mechanical Engineer at Gluquest. Aileen worked as a Design Engineer at Black & Decker and as a Mechanical Engineer at Spectros. Additionally, Aileen has extensive experience as a Mechanical Engineer, including roles at various consulting firms and at Vitaphore Corporation, where they conceptualized and designed catheters for peripheral vascular embolization. Their career started as a Mechanical Designer at Menlo Care.

Aileen Lum obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Art from Brown University between 1971 and 1975. Aileen later pursued a Master of Fine Arts degree in Sculpture at the University of Hawaii at Manoa from 1975 to 1978. Lastly, Aileen Lum completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from San Francisco State University from 1987 to 1990.
