Abbey Sawyer

Abbey Sawyer is a highly experienced healthcare professional specializing in physiotherapy and clinical research. Currently serving as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai since September 2022, Abbey has previously held roles such as Postdoctoral Researcher and Trial Manager at the University of Melbourne, and Honorary Research Fellow at Austin Health. Prior experience includes working as a Physiotherapist at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, where Abbey contributed to various outpatient and inpatient roles, particularly in respiratory care and cardiac rehabilitation. Abbey also acquired practical experience as a Sports Trainer with the Associates Rugby Club Swanbourne.
