Alejandra Borjabad

Alejandra Borjabad is an accomplished professional in the fields of human and medical genetics with extensive experience in research and instruction. Currently serving as an Instructor at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai since July 2014, Alejandra has previously worked as a Research Assistant Scientist at Rosevelt Hospital Center from July 2011 to June 2014, and as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Columbia University Medical Center from July 2005 to July 2012. Alejandra's academic journey includes a PhD in Human/Medical Genetics with a focus on HIV research from Université Paris Cité, completed in 2005, and a high school education in Molecular Biology from Universitat de Barcelona.
