Anina Lund is a PhD student at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai since August 2020, concurrently serving as a volunteer for Project SHORT. Previous research experience includes work as a research assistant in the Dillin lab, focusing on aging and proteostasis, and assistance in the Hinshaw lab on a longitudinal study related to childhood ADHD. Anina has also held positions as a project manager at Firefly AI and as an intern in the Diano lab at Yale University, exploring energy metabolism in mouse models. Anina's academic background includes a BA in Cognitive Science from the University of California, Berkeley, where research involved emotion recognition and social cognition. Anina also has a history as a Division 1 student athlete and represented Denmark at the 2017 World Championships in swimming.
