Thomas Fuchs is the Dean for Artificial Intelligence and Human Health at Icahn School of Medicine. Thomas was previously the CEO of Paige, a company they founded in 2000. Before that, they were a Research Technologist III at Jet Propulsion Laboratory and a Visiting Scientist at California Institute of Technology. Thomas has also worked as an Associate Attending at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

Thomas Fuchs most recently worked as a postdoctoral researcher in the field of computer vision at Caltech. Prior to that, they worked as a Doctor of Sciences in the field of machine learning at ETH Zürich. Thomas also holds a Dipl.-Ing. in technical mathematics from Technische Universität Graz.
