Joshua Lee has extensive experience in the legal field, starting with their current role as Senior Vice President, Legal Counsel at iCapital. Prior to this, they worked as an Associate at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP from October 2015 to January 2020. Before that, they held a summer associate position at the same firm in 2014, where they gained experience in reviewing due diligence, drafting memoranda, and working on pro bono matters. In 2012, Joshua interned at O’Melveny & Myers LLP, conducting legal research and drafting memoranda on various issues. Joshua also represented and interviewed pro bono cases through the Washington Legal Clinic for the Homeless. Additionally, Joshua has experience outside of the legal field, having worked as a basketball coach for the Brevard Jr. Magic AAU Basketball team, and as an intern at the U.S. Department of Education. Joshua also served as an opinions columnist for The Independent Florida Alligator and as the Business Manager for UF Residential Area Government, where they handled office maintenance, area business, and inventory management.
Joshua Lee completed their high school education at the American Community Schools in Athens, Greece from 2004 to 2008, earning a High School Diploma. Joshua then pursued their undergraduate studies at the University of Florida from 2008 to 2011, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science. Following that, they attended Harvard Law School from 2012 to 2015, where they received their J.D. degree.
