Ranjit Kumar

Ranjit Kumar is an experienced agricultural economist with a robust background in research and management. Currently serving as Head of Department at ICAR-National Academy of Agricultural Research Management (NAARM) since December 2016, Ranjit has held significant positions including Principal Scientist in Economics at the International Crops Research Institute for Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT) and Principal Scientist at the National Academy of Agricultural Research Management. Ranjit's career also includes a tenure as Senior Scientist at the Indian Institute of Soil Science and as a Scientist at the Indian Agricultural Research Institute. Ranjit Kumar holds a Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics from the Indian Agricultural Research Institute, an M.Sc. in Dairy Economics from the National Dairy Research Institute, and a B.Sc. in Agriculture from Banaras Hindu University.
