Christian Poinsot

Christian POINSOT, Ph.D, currently serves as Député Suppléant de Delphine LINGEMANN for the 4th constituency of Puy-de-Dôme since June 2022. In addition, Christian contributes to the CEN/TC 204 WG 6, focusing on the microbiological quality of processed medical devices, as well as multiple working groups within the ISO related to radiation sterilization and biocontamination control since 2010. Christian POINSOT has held the position of French Foreign Trade Advisor with Les Conseillers du Commerce Extérieur Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes since October 2021 and has been President and Scientific Director at ICARE since 1995, specializing in medical device testing and R&D. Christian's extensive professional background includes leadership roles in microbiology and quality assurance at various organizations, starting with research at the French National Institute of Agricultural Research in the early 1980s. Educational credentials include an Agronomist Engineer degree from L'Institut Agro Montpellier and a Doctorate in Food Sciences from INRAE Montpellier.
