Ankur Khanna is a finance professional with over 25 years of experience in multinational corporations across various regions, including the Middle East, Europe, Asia, and Africa. Currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at the International Cricket Council since April 2017, Ankur has held similar executive roles, including Chief Financial Officer at Air Asia India from April 2016 to March 2017, and Regional Finance Director at Air France KLM from 1999 to March 2016. Earlier in the career, Ankur worked in various finance positions at ITC Limited from 1988 to 1999. Ankur's educational background includes an ACA from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a B.Com (Honours) from Saint Xavier's College, complemented by advanced studies at the Amsterdam Institute of Finance and Cranfield School of Management.

The ICC is the global governing body for cricket. Representing 106 members, the ICC governs and administrates the game and is responsible for the staging of major international tournaments including the ICC Men’s World Cup and Women’s World Cup and the ICC Men’s and Women’s T20 World Cups as well as all associated qualifying events. The ICC presides over the ICC Code of Conduct which sets the professional standards of discipline for international cricket, playing conditions, bowling reviews and other ICC regulations and appoints match officials. Through the Anti-Corruption Unit it coordinates action against corruption and match fixing. The ICC Development department works with Associate Members to improve the quality of international cricket, build better cricket systems, get more people playing cricket and grow the game globally.
