Kanishka de Lanerolle

Kanishka de Lanerolle is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in IT infrastructure and cybersecurity within the life sciences and engineering sectors. Currently serving as the Head of Systems and Cloud Engineering at ICE Consulting since April 2024, Kanishka previously held roles such as Sr. Manager of IT at Synopsys Inc., where management of a global team supporting R&D was a key responsibility. Notable past positions include IT Director at PARC, a Xerox Company, overseeing IT strategy and cloud modernization, and IT Director/Head of IT at FINsix Corporation, where significant infrastructure upgrades were implemented. With over three decades of expertise in systems administration and management, Kanishka has a solid foundation in project management and strategic IT planning, underpinned by a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Kansas and a B.Sc. in Physics with Electronics from the University of Sussex.
