Deborah Komugisha Kakande- Sphri

Deborah Komugisha Kakande has a diverse work experience in the field of human resources. Deborah is currently serving as the Head of Human Resources & Administration at ICEA LION Uganda since December 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Human Resources Manager at Coca-Cola Beverages Africa from December 2021 to November 2022.

From December 2015 to December 2021, Deborah held the position of Manager, HR Development at Housing Finance Bank, Uganda. In this role, they focused on organizational development, talent development, and growth within the bank. Deborah designed and implemented initiatives to promote people learning and equipped them with key skills. Deborah also provided coaching and mentoring to talent to enhance their productivity and drove the bank's change agenda.

Before joining Housing Finance Bank, Deborah worked at MTN Uganda as a Learning And Development Specialist from October 2008 to December 2015. Deborah also gained experience as an HR Officer, Child Program, at Africare from February 2008 to September 2008.

Deborah Komugisha Kakande- SPHRI, CHRBP, ICF obtained a Master's Degree in Human Resource Management from Makerere University in Kampala, with a duration of study from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Education in literature & English Language at Kyambogo University in Kampala, spanning from 2003 to 2005.
