Margot Issertine

Head Of Research - Chill ICE III Mission at ICEE.Space

Margot Issertine has a diverse range of work experience in the field of space research and physiology. Margot is currently serving as the Head of Research for the CHILL ICE III Mission at ICEE.Space. In 2022, they worked as a PhD candidate in Space Physiology at Université de Montpellier. Margot also served as a Research Supervisor for the ANDROMEDA Program at DEEP SPACE INITIATIVE from January 2023 to January 2024. Margot has also worked as an Analogue Astronaut for ICEE.Space on various missions, including APICES in 2023 and CHILL.ICE II in 2022. Additionally, Margot gained internship experience in Space Myology at Harvard Medical School in 2022 and in Space Cardiology at Hôpital Erasme - Cliniques Universitaires de Bruxelles in 2021. Prior to their work in the space field, they served as a Quizz Tests author for Study Quizz in 2020 and as an Agent de la cellule de crise contact tracing COVID19 for Agence Régionale de Santé Occitanie (ARS) from June 2020 to December 2020. Margot also mentored and served as a Mentor Lead for the NASA Space Apps Challenge in 2023.

Margot Issertine holds a PhD degree in Space Physiology from the University of Montpellier, which they obtained from 2022 to 2025. Prior to that, they completed a Master's degree in Regenerative and Experimental Medicine from the same university, from 2020 to 2022. Margot also obtained a Bachelor's degree in Animal Physiology and Neurosciences from the University of Montpellier, which they completed from 2018 to 2020. In addition, they obtained a Numerical Diploma in Infectious Diseases from Institut Pasteur from 2020 to 2023. Margot also holds a Diploma in National Security and Defense from the University of Montpellier, which they completed in 2020.
