Icel - Ricardo Silva

Ricardo Silva currently serves as the R&D Manager at ICEL, a position held since May 2000, where responsibilities include coordinating research and development activities, product design, and implementing strategic visual identity projects. Previously, Ricardo worked as a Senior Designer in the R&D department at ICEL, focusing on product creation, prototyping, and graphic design. Early career experience includes an internship as a Designer at Molding, Plásticos de Injecção lda., and designer roles at Modus Design, where engagement in various design projects spanned furniture and footwear. Ricardo has also contributed to academia as an invited speaker at the Design Center, presenting on the role of design in industry. Education credentials include a postgraduate degree in Industrial Design from Faculdade de Arquitectura da Universidade Técnica de Lisboa and a degree in Industrial Design from IADE.
