Gunnlaugur Einarsson

Gunnlaugur Einarsson is an experienced professional in the field of geography and geographic information systems, currently serving as a Team Manager at Iceland GeoSurvey (ÍSOR) since November 2019, while also holding the position of Specialist within the organization since September 2006. Additionally, Gunnlaugur has been a part-time lecturer at the University of Iceland since January 2011, contributing expertise in GIS. An early role as a Specialist at the Port of Reykjavík involved data collection and reporting on the economic geography of the port. Gunnlaugur holds an M.Sc in Geographic Information Management from City, University of London, obtained in 2006, and a B.Sc in Geography from the University of Iceland, earned in 2003.
