Jóhann Valur Sævarsson

Jóhann Valur Sævarsson has a strong background in the aviation industry, with experience working for Icelandair, Air Atlanta Icelandic, and WOW air. Jóhann Valur currently holds the position of Director of Enterprise Architecture & Data at Icelandair, where they are responsible for overseeing the company's IT infrastructure and data management. Prior to this, Jóhann worked as an IT Project Manager and IT Product Manager at Air Atlanta Icelandic and WOW air, where they were involved in managing various projects and products related to IT. Before entering the aviation industry, Jóhann gained experience in marketing and web development at NOVA Iceland, where they started in customer service and was later promoted after completing their B. Sc. in Engineering Management.

Jóhann Valur Sævarsson completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Engineering/Industrial Management from Reykjavik University in 2011. Later, in 2015, they attained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in the same field from DTU - Technical University of Denmark.
