Bhumica Singla

Bhumica Singla has worked in a variety of roles since 2007. In 2007, they were the Lab Manager at the Department of Plant Molecular Biology, Delhi University, working with Professor Paramjit Khurana. In 2008, they moved to the Wenner Gren Institute, Stockholm University, where they were a Postdoctoral Researcher with Professor Mattias Mannervik. From 2012 to 2013, they were a Research Assistant at the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research, Karolinska Institute, Solna, working with Professor Thomas Perlmann. During this time, they worked on a project titled "Sox6 and Oct2 control the specification of substantia Nigra and Ventral Tegmental Area Dopamine Neurons." From 2013 to 2018, they worked as a Genetic Lab Engineer, Molecular Genetics Lab at Karolinska University Hospital. Currently, they are a Senior Scientist and GeneMate Project Leader at iCellate Medical AB, a position they have held since 2022.

Bhumica Singla obtained their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Molecular Biology from Delhi University between 2001 and 2007. Bhumica also earned a Bachelor's degree in Botany/Plant Biology from Miranda House between 1996 and 1999.
