Henri (Hank) Chase, PE has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Henri (Hank) Chase, PE has a strong educational background in civil engineering. Henri (Hank) obtained their HS Diploma in General Studies from James Blair High School in Williamsburg, VA in 1973. Henri (Hank) then attended Norfok Catholic High School in Norfolk, VA from 1973 to 1975. After completing high school, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil Engineering with a minor in Mathematics at Virginia Military Institute from 1975 to 1979. Later, in 1984 to 1985, they attended Stanford University to earn their Master of Science (MS) degree in Civil Engineering.

In addition to their academic achievements, Hank Chase has also obtained several certifications. In 1988, they acquired the "(former) Level II ($5M per action) Warranted Contracting Officer" certification from Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC). Furthermore, they attained the "Professional Engineer (P.E.)" certification from the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors in March 1991. Lastly, they received the DAWIA Level I, II, and III Certifications in Contracting from the Defense Acquisition University in June 1992.
