Juan Ardila

Juan Ardila is a Senior Remote Sensing Engineer at ICEYE since February 2020 and a Research Associate at Earth Innovation Institute since February 2016. With prior experience as Manager of Remote Sensing and GIS at UNODC from October 2012 to February 2016 and Specialist in Geomatics and Earth Observation at NEO BV Netherlands in 2012, Juan has developed expertise in remote sensing and GIS applications. As a PhD candidate at the University of Twente from 2005 to 2012, research focused on quantifying ecological services through remote sensing techniques. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Geoinformatics/Remote Sensing from the University of Twente, a Master of Science in Geoinformatics from the same institution, and an Engineering degree in Geomatics from Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas. Additionally, an English course was completed at The University of Alabama in 2002.
