Juan Matias Laco

Juan Matias Laco is an accomplished RF & Hardware Testing Engineering Manager at ICEYE since March 2021, previously serving as a Staff Radio Engineer. At ICEYE, Juan Matias has led the Testing Team and implemented innovative engineering processes while overseeing the development of hardware for the SAR Payload. Prior to ICEYE, Juan Matias held the position of Senior Staff RF Engineer at INVAP, focusing on the design, manufacturing, and commissioning of complex RF systems and antennas. Juan Matias's academic background includes a Doctor of Engineering in RF Engineering from Universidad Nacional del Sur, where involvement included roles as a PhD student and Teaching Assistant. Additional experience includes positions at CONICET, Kimberly-Clark, Universidad Nacional del Sur, and an internship at Tenaris. Juan Matias has a strong foundation in electronics, complemented by a First Certificate in English from the University of Cambridge.
