Juhani Pitkänen

Juhani Pitkänen is the current General Counsel at ICEYE. Juhani has held this position since September of 2022. Prior to their current role, Pitkänen served as the Assistant General Counsel and Head of Legal Services for Metsä Group from January of 2008 to September of 2022. In this role, they were responsible for the daily operation of the Legal Services support function, as well as the legal affairs of Metsä Board Corporation.

Pitkänen has also worked as Legal Counsel for Tieto from March of 2006 to January of 2008, and as a Senior Associate for Roschier, Attorneys Ltd. from January of 2000 to March of 2006.

Pitkänen holds a degree in law from the University of Helsinki.

Juhani Pitkänen has a LLM in Law from the University of Helsinki and has completed the Matriculation Exam from Helsingin Suomalainen Yhteiskoulu.

Juhani Pitkänen reports to Rafal Modrzewski, CEO, Co-founder. They work with Jerry Welsh - CEO, US, Eero Jyske - VP, Software, and Pekka Laurila - CSO, Co-founder.
