Markku Luotamo

Markku Luotamo is a highly experienced professional in the fields of geospatial data science and software engineering, currently serving as a Senior Geospatial Data Scientist at ICEYE since September 2023. As the CEO and Senior Data Scientist at OrbitGo Oy since January 2019, Markku has leveraged extensive expertise acquired during previous roles, including Chief Architect and Principal Consultant at Reaktor, ICT Architect and Group Manager at OP-Pohjola, and Managing Director at Netrical. Markku's career began at Nokia as a Software Engineer, and includes significant positions at Cap Gemini and Meridea Financial Software. Markku holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Machine Learning and Geospatial Data Science from the University of Helsinki, as well as a Master of Science in Software Engineering and Economics from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan.
