Qiaoping Zhang

Qiaoping Zhang is a seasoned expert in geomatics engineering and remote sensing with over 20 years of experience in research and development. Currently serving as Team Lead for InSAR Analytics R&D and Staff Engineering R&D at ICEYE since September 2021, Qiaoping Zhang has a strong background, highlighted by previous roles as Manager of Research and Development and Senior Scientist at Intermap Technologies, where notable contributions included developing automated processes for flood modeling and machine learning algorithms for SAR image classification. Academic credentials include a PhD in Geomatics Engineering from the University of Calgary and a second PhD in Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing from Wuhan University.
