Zainab Khan

Zainab Khan, M.Sc. is currently serving as a Junior Research Fellow at ICGEB since June 2023, focusing on the functional and structural dissection of novel protein families in Plasmodium falciparum. Prior experience includes a role as Project Associate at Jawaharlal Nehru University from January to May 2023, where Zainab worked on the expression, purification, and characterization of Cystathionine-beta Synthase in Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Zainab has also interned at CRL Diagnostics Labs and Diagno Labs Private Limited in 2021 and 2019, respectively. Zainab holds a Master of Science in Biochemistry from Jamia Millia Islamia (2021-2023) and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Allahabad (2018-2021), as well as a Senior School certificate in Science from Girls' High School & College, Allahabad (2008-2018).
