Denis Philippe

Denis Philippe is a distinguished legal professional, serving as the Managing Senior Partner and Founder of Philippe & Partners since 2000, where the firm received the Best Belgian Law Firm Legal Award in 2009. Philippe is a member of both the Brussels Bar and the Luxembourg Bar, specializing in areas such as insurance law, trade practices, real estate, and litigation across various legal matters, including contracts and tax law, in both national and international courts. In addition to legal practice, Philippe holds multiple academic positions, including Extraordinary Professor at Université catholique de Louvain and ICHEC, as well as a Lecturer at Université Paris Ouest Nanterre La Défense. Philippe also contributes to legal scholarship as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal du Droit des affaires and serves as Associate Editor for Revue Générale de Droit Civil and JLMB. An accomplished academic, Philippe earned a Ph.D. in Law from Université catholique de Louvain, alongside degrees in Economics and European Law.
