Tenzing Chogyal Sherpa

Tenzing Chogyal Sherpa is a specialized Cryosphere Analyst currently employed at ICIMOD since February 2018, where responsibilities include remote sensing and geoinformation related to cryosphere research. Prior to this role, Tenzing worked at Kathmandu University from September 2014 to February 2018, contributing as a Research Associate and Research Assistant on the Cryosphere Monitoring Project and engaging in research focused on glaciology. Tenzing's earlier experience includes conducting IEE monitoring for the Ministry of Federal Affairs and Local Development in 2014. Educational qualifications include an M.S. by Research in Glaciology from Kathmandu University (2014-2016) and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science, also from Kathmandu University (2010-2014).
