Seema Rao

Seema Rao has extensive work experience in data engineering and analysis, with particular expertise in quality assurance and database development.

Seema started their career in 2009 with Vortalsoft Inc., where they served as a Data/QA Analyst. In this role, they worked as a contractor for an investment firm in Baltimore, Maryland, performing QA/testing activities for a pricing and performance display to clients in EXPAT countries using their Product Reference Database (PRD). Seema utilized Toad query browser to run queries and ensure the accuracy of the displayed content. Their tenure at Vortalsoft Inc. lasted from October 2009 to February 2010.

In 2014, Seema joined Accenture (Contract) as a Business/QA Analyst. During their time there, they worked with two pharmaceutical companies in New Jersey, fulfilling the roles of both Business Analyst and QA Analyst for the Oracle eClinical Siebel CRM Application. Their responsibilities included supporting the end-to-end life-cycle development of pharmaceutical drugs and aligning business functions related to Clinical Trials, Clinical Finance, and Reporting. Their employment with Accenture lasted from October 2014 to October 2015.

From 2015 to 2016, Seema worked as a Data/QA Analyst at V12 Group. In this position, they played a crucial role in data analysis and quality assurance.

Starting in 2016, they joined Throtle as a Database Developer, working there until 2019. During their time at Throtle, they served as the Lead Quality Assurance Analyst/Database Developer and also held the role of Database Developer. Their contributions in these positions were focused on database development and quality assurance.

Seema's most recent position is with iCIMS, where they started in 2019 as a Data Engineer II and later transitioned into the role of Senior Data Engineer in March 2021.

Seema Rao earned a Bachelor's Degree in an unspecified field of study from PES University, where they studied from 2002 to 2006. Seema then went on to pursue a Master's Degree from Rutgers University from 2010 to 2013, though the specific field of study is unknown. Seema later obtained an Automation Pro I Certificate from Workato in June 2023.
