Gerard Hoogenraad

Gerard Hoogenraad is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in data management and engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Data Manager at Swissgrid since November 2004, Gerard specializes in integrating CIM IEC61970 into SCADA systems and is involved in the deployment of new SCADA integrations within the organization. Previously, Gerard held the position of Convenor for the permanent expert team for online data exchange at ENTSO-E from December 2011 to March 2015, and worked as a Database Engineer at Kuehne + Nagel AG. Gerard began their career as a Programmer at Tettex Instruments, focusing on high voltage measuring equipment. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering with a focus on High Voltage Technology from Delft University of Technology, and a certification in Requirements Engineering from Zühlke Engineering AG.
