Petra Schumann has extensive experience in the shipping and logistics industry, primarily with Independent Container Line (ICL) since March 1997, where roles have included Inside Sales, Sales Support Manager, and Export Customer Service Manager - Key Account Manager. Responsibilities at ICL encompass customer guidance, sales, pricing, onboarding, team leadership, service contract negotiations, and vessel management. Prior experience includes customer service and sales roles at Grisar+Velghe and Hapag Lloyd Flug GmbH, focusing on export customer service for South American markets, as well as import/export operations for the Far East and Caribbean. Petra holds a Licentiate degree in translation (German/English) from the Hoger Instituut voor Vertalers en Tolken and a degree in Transport and Expedition from Beroepsinstituut voor Havenbedienden.
