Summer Zehra

Summer Zehra possesses extensive experience in education, talent acquisition, and community service. Currently serving as the Director of People and Partnerships and previously as the Talent Acquisition and Training Manager at Fawakih Institute, Summer has excelled in creating effective training materials and enhancing organizational partnerships since September 2020. Concurrently, at ICNA Relief USA, Summer's role as a Case Manager/Project Manager includes mentoring clients, managing resources for refugee and new immigrant populations, and leveraging multilingual skills to communicate effectively. Previous teaching roles span from elementary to high school levels, complemented by various leadership positions aimed at improving educational outcomes. Summer holds multiple degrees, including a Master’s in Educational Policy Studies and a Bachelor’s in English Education, along with certifications focused on culturally responsive instruction and fundraising for educational leaders.
