Hany Bassiouny

Hany Bassiouny is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience spanning over two decades in various accounting and financial management roles. Currently serving as CFO at ICON Egypt since April 2015, Hany is responsible for setting financial objectives, developing policies, and ensuring compliance within the finance department. Previously, Hany held the position of Finance Manager at Mega Investments Securities from 2006 to 2015, where responsibilities included preparing financial statements and developing internal controls. Additional experience includes roles as Chief Accountant at Nile for Chemicals and Trading, Senior Accountant at National Technology Group, and earlier accounting positions at CAIROMATIC for Contracting and Engineering and YEM for Importing & Distribution. Hany holds an MBA in Business Investment from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Cairo University.
