James Polk

James Polk is an experienced Engineering Project Manager with a robust background in project management, manufacturing engineering, and product commercialization. Currently at ICON Consultants, LP since October 2025, Polk previously held similar roles at Radiant Systems Inc, focusing on EUMDR certification engineering management for Stryker Spine. A significant portion of Polk's experience was spent at Medtronic in various engineering positions, emphasizing ENT medical devices, automation, and process control, followed by roles in research and development at Vistakon and Johnson & Johnson. Earlier work includes project management at Lucas Control Systems, Inc. and as a Mechanical Engineer at Newport News Shipbuilding, contributing to innovative design and development projects. Polk holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Master's in Engineering Management from Old Dominion University.
