David Coughlin

David Coughlin has a strong background in manufacturing and operations management. David is currently serving as the VP of Manufacturing at Icon Protection since 2021. Prior to this, they held various leadership positions at Pregis from 2017 to 2021, including Vice President of New Product Development and Strategy, Vice President of Operations and New Product Development, and Vice President Operations. From 2014 to 2017, David held roles at Essentra as the Vice President of Operations, Americas and Vice President of Operations, Specialty Tapes. Before that, they worked at Standard Register from 2004 to 2014, where they served as Director of Strategic Sourcing, Director of Operations, Plant Manager, and Production Manager. David began their career at Avery Dennison in 1998, working as a Production Supervisor and Process Development Engineer.

David Coughlin earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Cleveland State University, where they attended from 1995 to 2000. David later pursued an MBA with a focus on Management, Innovation, and Change, which they completed at Wright State University from 2011 to 2013.
