Field Reliability Engineer II at ICON

Amy Nguyen has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Amy is currently employed at ICON as a Field Reliability Engineer, starting in November 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Aggreko as a Continuous Improvement Engineer from July 2021 to March 2022, where they managed quality and product design issues for a battery energy storage system (BESS) product and coordinated with various teams to drive resolutions and implement improvements.

Before Aggreko, Amy worked at Sasol from January 2019 to May 2021 as a Mechanical Reliability Engineer. In this role, they oversaw the overall reliability of rotating equipment, troubleshooted mechanical malfunctions, conducted root cause analyses, provided technical support for repairs, analyzed maintenance data, and implemented projects for continuous improvement. Amy was also involved in the commissioning of mechanical assets for different units.

Amy's earlier experience includes working at Levingston Group, LLC as a Reliability Specialist from October 2017 to January 2019, where they monitored equipment data to identify potential failures and prevent unplanned outages. Amy also had an internship at Jinko Solar Co., Ltd. in June and July 2017.

Throughout their work experience, Amy has demonstrated their expertise in reliability engineering, problem-solving, project management, and data analysis.

Amy Nguyen received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from McNeese State University, from 2013 to 2017. Amy has further obtained additional certifications, including a Vibration Analyst: Category 2 from the Vibration Institute in May 2018, and a Level 1 Machinery Lubrication Technician from the International Council for Machinery Lubrication (ICML) in March 2018. Additionally, Amy is also a Certified Reliability Leader, although the specific institution and date of this certification are unknown.
