Andrew Garrett has a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Economics from the University of Leicester, which they obtained from 1980 to 1983. Andrew then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Medical Statistics from Newcastle University, which they completed in 1984. In 1995, they obtained a certification as a Chartered Statistician from the Royal Statistical Society. Later, from 1997 to 2006, they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Statistics from The Open University, while studying part-time.
