Colin Burns

Colin Burns has over 30 years of experience in the technology and consulting sectors, currently serving as the Global Head of Clinical Data Services at ICON plc since March 2009, where responsibilities also include Director of Data & Technologies and Project Lead for ICONIK Reporting. Prior to this, Colin was a Principal Director at Astron Consulting from January 1997 to December 2010, and served as the Director of Consulting Services at Rits Information Security from 1994 to 1997, specializing in security consulting for various organizations. Colin started a career at AIB as a Software Developer from 1991 to 1993, following the attainment of a Bachelor of Science in Computer Systems from the University of Limerick in 1991.
