Dimitar Karzhin

Dimitar Karzhin, MD, is a seasoned professional in clinical project management with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare fields. Currently serving as Director of Project Management and Bulgaria Site Head at ICON plc since November 2011, Dimitar has held various leadership roles, including Director of Clinical Trial Management and Sr Project Manager. Prior to joining ICON, Dimitar was a Senior Clinical Project Manager at IQVIA, where roles also included Clinical Study Manager and Clinical Research Associate Team Lead. Earlier in the career, Dimitar worked as a Sales Representative at Berlin-Chemie AG and practiced as a General Practitioner at "Dr Karzhin, MD, GP" from January 1997 to December 2003. Dimitar holds a Certificate in International Business Management from University College Dublin and an MD in General Practice from Medical University - Sofia. Education began at English Language School, culminating in a high school degree focused on English Language and Literature.
